FINALS UPDATE: Monday Night Football (ABC) (3.9, +1.4) and Son of a Critch (R) (0.1) adjusted up while The Voice (0.6) and The Irrational (0.3) adjusted down.

WHAT MATTERS:

• Numbers posted. A season that will be light on original scripted programs actually began with a new one, as NBC launched drama The Irrational following The Voice. Fox had the returns of Kitchen Nightmares and Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, the former making its first appearance on Fox since 2014.
