All American spin-off All American: Homecoming got its first look at the fall schedule in 2022, and proved a massive upgrade on the year-ago one-and-done 4400. It was enough to make up for a somewhat lackluster fall for All American, mostly mired in the upper 0.1's.

But All American found some heat in the winter months, after sitting out for most of that period last year. Its best run was a 0.17 -> 0.23 for the last two episodes of February and then a 0.16 for its return three weeks later.

Homecoming only had 15 episodes and was done right at the start of the spring period, with repeats filling in at 9/8c the rest of the way. All American cooled off a bit from that strong winter run but was still roughly even in Plus.

All American: Like several other scripted shows on its network, All American slowed the bleeding after a rough season last year. Of course, All American was never dropping as fast as shows like The Flash and Riverdale, so this represented one more year as the crown jewel of the CW's sparse scripted department. Grade: B.

All American: Homecoming: The Plus growth is pretty much just because it aired earlier in the season, and it probably would've dropped to about the spring 2022 levels if it had kept airing. Still, it has made for a very competent pairing with the mothership. With the CW itself in a state of limbo, it only recently scored its renewal, but it should've been a no-brainer on any remotely "normal" network. Grade: B.
