WHAT MATTERS:
- Fox reality stalwart The Masked Singer (1.4) returned to top Premiere Wednesday, but it was down a steep 40%ish from the show's fall premiere a year ago. Its new unscripted lead-out I Can See Your Voice (1.1) held on well at 9/8c, clearly outperforming the dud year-ago post-TMS occupant (Almost Family) and posting about the same retention as the winter occupant LEGO Masters (which premiere to a 1.6 after a 2.0).
- It was finale night for America's Got Talent (0.8/0.9) from 9:00 to 11:00, possibly eyeing the series' first 0.9 in over a month. CBS had its usual duo of Big Brother (1.1) and Love Island (0.6), with the latter hitting a new season high if it holds in finals.
