WHAT MATTERS:
- ABC gave The Bachelorette lead-in (1.4) to new unscripted series The Proposal (0.8). While an improvement on recent scripted series that have aired here, it barely managed half of its lead-in's rating.
- On NBC, American Ninja Warrior (1.0) finally made the move to Monday, now at 9/8c leading out of Running Wild (0.7). ANW found itself below anything it had done on Wednesday earlier in the summer, and heavily below the year-ago 1.5.
- The CW's Supergirl finished its season with an uptick to 0.5, and Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (0.8) was also on the upswing.
