WHAT MATTERS:
- With no direct Chicago Fire competition, it was a nice second week for the Grey's Anatomy spin-off Station 19 (1.2), actually on the uptick week-to-week from its two-hour average last week (and matching what it did in just the 9:00 hour). That came despite a drop from its lead-in Grey's Anatomy (1.7). But the network had much worse news in the 10/9c hour as Scandal (0.8) had a rough start to its final four episodes. It shouldn't be a surprise that the 10/9c hour is much tougher than the situation Scandal previously had, but even the previous occupant How to Get Away with Murder only got down to 0.8 once this season.
- CBS was back from its March Madness hiatus and on the low end with The Big Bang Theory (2.4), Young Sheldon (2.0), Mom (1.4), Life in Pieces (1.0) and S.W.A.T. (0.9). But that was nothing compared to the massacre on NBC, as stalwarts Superstore (0.8), Will and Grace (0.9) and Chicago Fire (0.9) all went fractional while A.P. Bio (0.6) and Champions (0.5) fell to new lows of their own.
- Fox (0.7/0.6) matched last week while the CW's Supernatural (0.7) is eyeing a big uptick for a Scooby Doo-themed episode.
