FINALS UPDATE: Academy Awards (6.8) adjusted up while Oscar Red Carpet p2 (2.1) and Oscar Red Carpet p3 (3.2) adjusted down. (The Billy Graham numbers included below are based on the prelims, as finals were not available.)

WHAT MATTERS:

• Early indicators suggest a particularly steep decline for last night's Academy Awards. The prelims from 8:00 to 11:00 averaged a 6.4ish, down about 25% from last year's 8.7 prelim. Last year's show adjusted up to 9.1 in the finals. More Oscars ratings.
