WHAT MATTERS:
- History gave its strong Vikings lead-in (0.71) to another scripted series, a new Navy SEAL drama called Six (0.48). Vikings only has a couple more episodes remaining, so Six will have several weeks to show what it can do without that lead-in.
- FX brought back the Zach Galifianakis comedy Baskets (0.24) on Thursday at barely half of its year-ago 0.46 series premiere. However, Baskets took a huge drop across season one and was actually below that 0.24 for the final four episodes, so we'll see if it can hold up better.
- And Showtime got some much-welcomed news as Homeland (0.46) pulled a The Night Of and had a major week two increase following a disappointing premiere (that apparently had been available online in advance). This got it all the way back to exactly even with last year's week two.
