Cablemetrics: Westworld, Divorce, Insecure, American Horror Story

WHAT MATTERS:

• HBO's Westworld was down a tenth to a still solid 0.67 demo in week two. It was a highly irregular week, with no competition from Fear the Walking Dead but also a big presidential debate in its hour. Next week will be its only opportunity with no debate and no Walking Dead franchise in its hour (as The Walking Dead mothership is back on the 25th).

• HBO apparently thought that Debate Night in America was the proper time to launch a couple new comedies, and Divorce (0.14) and Insecure (0.11) opened with even worse retention than what we see from Silicon Valley and Veep out of a much, much bigger Game of Thrones lead-in.

• FX's American Horror Story (1.43) gets a couple more weeks atop the chart as we await the return of The Walking Dead. After posting its first raw growth year-to-year in week three, this point fell to more in line with the -10%ish trend for the full season.
