The 2016-17 Climate Center: League Averages

The Climate Center helps you keep up with some of this site's bigger-picture numbers on a week-to-week basis. Though most of the A18-49+ posts aren't updated until the summer, this can keep you posted on how things are developing while the season is ongoing.

The League Averages post covers the numbers that really make A18-49+ go: the 'league average,' which is an average of all ratings for original non-sports series on the big four networks during the traditional 35- or 36-week regular season. No sports, no reruns, no specials, no movies, no sustaining programming included!

These numbers are up to date through Sunday, September 25.

The two numbers actually used to calculate A18-49+ (and projected A18-49+) are:
LeAv - Adults 18-49 league average for the full 2015-16 season to date.
ProjLA - Projection of the end-of-season 18-49 league average, derived by applying the current year-to-year trend (y2y) to last season's final average.

Also included in the table:
LAwk - The 18-49 league average within each week individually (LAwk)
18-34y2d - League average for the full season-to-date using adults 18-34 ratings.
18-34wk - League average for each week individually using adults 18-34 ratings.
