WHAT MATTERS:
- ABC dominated the final pre-Olympics Monday with a vintage spike for the two-hour finale of The Bachelorette (2.5) and 'After the Final Rose' (2.3) at 10/9c. Both of these matched last year's final telecasts, capping off a season that has been very close to dead even in raw numbers pretty much all summer.
- A steady American Ninja Warrior (1.6) led into the return of Running Wild with Bear Grylls (1.1) at 10/9c, just a tenth below its mid-July opener last year, while Fox stayed in the reality cellar with another 0.7 from So You Think You Can Dance.
- It was actually a pretty interesting night in repeat land, as CBS installed its two-hour Monday comedy block (0.8/0.7/0.7/0.6) with Scorpion (0.6) at 10/9c. Meanwhile, the CW began an over two-month run of Monday Supergirl double-pumps (0.4/0.5). Those ratings would be great if they hold in finals, but apparently the network was preempted.
