*- For this winter's War of 18-49 updates, the A18-49+ is based on a projected league average, calculated by applying the league average's current year-to-year trend (thru 1/3/16) to the final 2014-15 average. This should help make these numbers compare more fairly with fall seasons past.
Rating the Ratings: Fall 2015 may mark the end of Dancing with the Stars' two calendar year/four-season streak of growing year-to-year in A18-49+. At a -11% raw decline, it's very much on the bubble and will depend on where the league average ends up. After a somewhat soft 2.1 premiere, DWTS held up well and was up in Plus for most of the early and mid-fall. The show heated up a bit in the closing weeks of the season, but not nearly as much as last fall. So all the worst year-to-year trends came at the end of the season. Grade: B-.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for Dancing with the Stars.
