Cablemetrics: Into the Badlands, Homeland, The Affair, The Expanse

WHAT MATTERS:

• Had some earlier Twitter thoughts on finale Sunday for Showtime and AMC.

• The only other notable in a slow week was a very soft start for Syfy's The Expanse (0.15) in its run through the holidays, down by nearly half from what it did in previews after Childhood's End the previous week. It's at least worth keeping an eye on what happens after the holidays, since viewing levels will get higher and it'll start airing eps that weren't previously available on demand. But at 0.15, it's looking like a long shot that this could turn into a positive story for the channel.
