Rating the Ratings: Canadian import Rookie Blue had a nice five years of incredibly consistent OK-for-summer ratings on ABC Thursday, but it came to an end this year as the show took a huge drop as part of a tri-drama lineup. It probably wasn't that compatible with The Astronaut Wives Club and Mistresses, but it's had lead-ins that bad before and held up better. After a horrible 0.6 premiere, it actually ticked up in the following weeks (as high as a 0.8 on July 23) but then gave it all back in the second half of the season. Even at its reportedly very cheap cost, this was not a level at which ABC would be begging to have it back, and it ended with a cancellation announcement a couple weeks ago. Grade: D.
