Rating the Ratings: Once the centerpiece of a strong TNT Sunday, Falling Skies headed to the end in quiet fashion this summer, dropping by almost exactly the same amount as its now much stronger lead-in The Last Ship. The 0.50 premiere looked like a huge negative, down more than half year-to-year, but it managed to hover in the general vicinity of 0.5 going forward and slowly improved its trend. It got an OK spike to 0.63 for the series finale, which was a new season high and also a tenth above the penultimate finale. Grade: C-.
