Rating the Ratings: Another of Fox's reality staples had another bad season, as Hell's Kitchen fell by 26% from the last spring/summer season. Outside of a 1.4 premiere and one random 1.1, it was at either 1.2 or 1.3 until the end of the regular season, when it was moved to 9/8c and hit 1.1 the last three weeks after low-rated Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? This is a bad year-to-year trend, and the only reason it's not a D is because between these two seasons it aired another one in the fall. It doesn't look quite as awful for this individual season when considering it was only a tenth below the fall season. But the franchise's overall trend is clearly not good. Grade: D+.
