Rating the Ratings: After a couple relatively "blah" seasons in 2013 and 2014, The Bachelorette had a bonafide triumph in 2015. It was about even year-to-year for the first couple weeks when it led out of Dancing with the Stars and 500 Questions. But once reinstalled at 8:00 it became clear this was a much bigger player than last year and, in fact, bigger in Plus than any previous summer Bachelorette season. The show was up year-to-year almost every week, hovering around a 1.9 for most of June and July. And it ended with a vintage finale spike to 2.5, way above the 2.1 from last year's finale. To add to the victory, this show utterly steamrolled Fox's attempt to counterprogram it with So You Think You Can Dance, and the growth came even while NBC was having its own significant uptick with American Ninja Warrior. Grade: A.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for The Bachelorette.
