Rating the Ratings: After an ill-advised stop on Monday in 2013-14, Archer had a homecoming to its old Thursday 10/9c timeslot this season and took a relatively small drop by cable standards. The first three weeks (0.8 -> 0.5 -> 0.5) were all way down from the opening Monday weeks, but the show perked up from there and drastically improved its year-to-year trend. I tried not to be too harsh on the show even with its huge drop last year since it seemed like the timeslot was a big part of the issue, so I'm also not gonna be too generous with this grade. It just seems like the show belongs on Thursday. Grade: B.
