Rating the Ratings: After a poor start to its new life on Friday, The Amazing Race did a little better in the spring season, actually beating the fall average by a couple hundredths (though it'd have been a couple hundredths behind if not for the 90-minute Wednesday premiere). -32% looks like a good number for a Friday transition, though it'd have been more like -37% after throwing out the Wednesday premiere and the severely deflated eps against the Olympics/Oscars last spring. Overall, getting basically the same numbers as the fall season deep into the spring was a subtle step in the right direction; Undercover Boss probably would not have done that much better, and we couldn't say that about the fall season. But it was still not much to write home about. Grade: C.
