Rating the Ratings: The veteran CBS procedural was arguably its network's most impressive performer in the 10:00 hour this season, trailing well-supported weeknight shows like NCIS: Los Angeles and Person of Interest by only a few tenths. It was also the most resilient CBS Friday show, managing slight growth in Plus as The Amazing Race messed up the 8/7c hour and dragged Hawaii Five-0 to an above-average decline. This show has had some late-season stinkers historically, and the 1.0 for the penultimate ep on 4/24/15 was another one (even if it was facing ABC's massive Bruce Jenner: The Interview). But this time, Blue Bloods recovered nicely by getting back to 1.3 for the finale. This is another show that gets some grading love because it was a series high in Plus, though this time not by a wide margin. Grade: B+.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for Blue Bloods.
