*- For this winter's War of 18-49 updates, the A18-49+ is based on a projected league average, calculated by applying the league average's current year-to-year trend (thru 1/18/15) to the final 2013-14 average. This should help make these numbers compare more fairly with seasons past.
Rating the Ratings: A shortened final season for USA Network veteran White Collar drew little interest to the network in the late fall. It's worth noting that airing in late November and December was not as favorable an arrangement compared to last year's 13-episode season, which had its highest ratings for the final four episodes in high-viewed January. Still, lining these six eps up with the same six weeks last season produces a 32% decline, and that includes an announced series finale vs. no finale in that period last season. So it was still pretty ugly for the end of White Collar... even if not quite as ugly as for its lead-out. Grade: D-.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for White Collar.
