- FINALS UPDATE: The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show adjusted up to 3.4, putting it even year-to-year. It also edged out the series finale of FX's Sons of Anarchy (3.3) for top series of the night. Sons joined recent finales like Breaking Bad and How I Met Your Mother in ending on a new series high, just barely beating the 3.2 from this season's premiere. Elsewhere, The Voice (2.3) adjusted up to avoid a new low, while Supernatural (1.0) and The Mindy Project (1.1) both went down.
- CBS ruled Tuesday with the always reliably stout Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (2.8) and The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (3.3) sandwiching a repeat of NCIS (1.7). Both these specials were just barely down from last year (3.0/3.4 respectively) when CBS aired them on separate nights (putting Rudolph a couple weeks earlier and Secret following original episodes of the NCIS twins).
- The superhero shows preliminarily inched down from last week, but The Flash (1.5) was still above its usual level before the Arrow cross-over (and Supernatural (1.1) had a particularly strong night). ABC's fall finales of Agents of SHIELD (1.7) and Forever (1.1) also declined by 0.1 with less lead-in support at 8/7c from Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (1.1), but these shows were still ahead of some previous episodes (when they had more drama competition).
- NBC's struggles continued with another new low for The Voice (2.2) leading to more declines from Marry Me (1.2) and About a Boy (0.9) and a modest Angelina Jolie news special at 10/9c (1.0). Fox's New Girl (1.5) and The Mindy Project (1.2) each picked up a tenth.

I heard the Flash ran over a couple minutes into Supernatural, it may be part of its rise
I do love CBS's "something for everyone" night. A 50 year old children's cartoon (claymation, whatever), a procedural drama encore, and a slutty fashion show.
Oh my @ The Voice. I wonder if it will go below a 2.0 this or next season.
I'm surprised that CBS didn't throw a new episode of NCIS: NoLa between the specials. With The Dovekeepers coming in March, this would have been a good way to keep the episode count between the spinoff and the original in balance (since I assume CBS will give the miniseries a new episode of NCIS as a lead-in). And NoLa would have had its best lead-in in Rudolph.
If ABC returns the Dancing results show, I could see it happening on Tuesday. Especially wifh DST hitting it too
ABC premieres Fresh Off The Boat at Tuesday 10 February at 8pm.
And they are giving it the "Napoleon Dynamite Treatment" by having it premiere 2 episodes in one night at 8:30 and 9:30!
It actually premieres Wednesday February 4th, temporarily displacing The Goldbergs at 8:30 with the pilot episode and then a second episode temporarily displacing Blackish. FOTB will settle into its regular day and time the following Tuesday, February 10th at 8pm. ABC has yet to announce what will follow it at 8:30 but it is being speculated that a repeat of one of the Wednesday comedies will be used.
Likely as zero. Its an out of slot premiere and spot tends to count those as week 0.
They do have very similar male skews (41% and 43%). And it is hard to get a read on Grimm because last season especially it was really volatile for the first few months moving multiple ticks every week.
Holy crap the voice is falling..
I may say I watched the slutty fashion show and the cartoon lol.
I hate they'll keep giving sub 1s lead-ins for SHIELD.
ABC needs to fix tuesdays ASAP, it's such a contrast compared to the other nights, they've lost to CW sometimes.
Can we start NBC's countdown to find new shows to build depth and set it to may 2016?
There are three cycles of Voice until this date, plenty of time to hit ratings in the mid 1s vicinity.
Soon the Blacklist will be topping the Voice in live ratings (it came close a few times already).
Actually at this rate SVU and Chicago Fire might start topping the Voice.
I imagine if the Voice continues declining Greenblatt will shift AGT to the main season and maybe even pump AGT to 2 cycles a year if it's ratings are good enough.
Man, they must have a lot of faith in Agent Carter by giving comedy repeats as a lead-in. T_T
Which means if one defers, they can have five ratings points before going renew or cancel as week 0 will be give us two data points and not count
You can't be sure that TBL is going to pull better than The Voice.
The CW growing 525% year to year!
I think this is clearly jumping the gun. The Voice isn't down that much year to year, it can recover next Spring to some degree.
...damn.
I'm hoping so. They need to rework the format and make the live portion shorter.
Also GET RID OF THE TWITTER SAVE.
That's versus iheartRadio / Lady Gaga. Not versus Originals / Supernatural.
