Rating the Ratings: Rookie Blue turned in yet another decline that was incredibly close to the league average decline. And as usual, it had very little lead-in help, mostly leading out of the well sub-1 Black Box and The Quest. It was announced that the 22-episode fifth season order was officially re-labelled as two separate 11-episode seasons, which helps for record-keeping purposes. Maybe that means ABC could get out of airing the 2015 batch, but I see no reason to believe that will happen. Grade: B-.

Not specifically related, but does anyone know the fate of the other Canadian coproduction Motive? Has it been renewed in either the US or Canada?
Rookie Blue did well in a tough situation. I wonder how it could do in regular season say post Dancing?
