Cancel (confident). Holding steady in the second week is good, but this show still feels like a placeholder. I wouldn't be surprised if NBC started developing something for Kate Walsh for next season, though.
It's week 2 has higher than all non Voice episodes of Sean and the first three episodes of MJF Show. It is holding all of its mediocre lead in. So, I'm saying Cancel (Not Confident)
I think it'll probably be cancelled, but I could see some sort of extention.

Very low rated, and very similar show Two and a Half Men is soon coming into this timeslot. 2 thumbs down.
Nevertheless, I can see it airing all 13 episodes on Thursday. As NBC is overhauling Thursday schedule in February anyway, it makes second to none sense for them to do one additional overhaul in the meantime.

NBC has cancelled a zillion sitcoms over the last 5 years, but they always had Community and Parks as backbenchers because they were dependable. If Bad Judge remains stable and everything else comedy flops again, I could see this kept as a mid season entry next year, the way Community used to and Parks is this year.
Given that by all accounts they botched this attempt, I presume that they'd be tempted to have another go and Kate herself might be the one to prevent it.
This is one where I can see a path the other way, and would be deterred from an aggressive call by a bigger penalty, but with only the two-point penalty, I'm going for it.

Good point. I always wonder how often this happens in actual development deals; if the first project falls apart (especially under difficult circumstances, like Bad Judge), the star might be obligated to stick around for a few more tries, but they're probably not going to be in a very charitable mood, are they?

Indeed. Note that Sean Hayes has gone from not saving the world to not saving The Millers.
Cancel (confident) Yeah it held its audience, but that's like saying a D is better than an F.

Cancel (confident) If may be inflated by its lead-in, but Marry Me just has every advantage over this.

I'm 95% sure it will be cancelled, but stranger things have happened.

LOL. I didn't know that. Who will save us all from bad sitcoms?
