- The second-tier reality series kept bouncing all over the place. Hotel Hell (1.5) shot back up to its season premiere number after dropping the previous two weeks. Bachelor in Paradise (1.3) gave back its week two growth plus another tenth in week three, but it's still tracking ahead of the last Bachelor Pad season two years ago. And Running Wild (1.1) completely fell apart, going from a new high in week three down by four tenths to easily a new low in week four.
- The CW premiered America's Next Top Model (0.4) in August for the third straight year. Even with one of its best recent lead-ins from Whose Line Is It Anyway?, this was down two tenths from the 0.6 Friday premiere last year. (Though it had a 0.4 premiere two years ago and then picked up steam in September.)
- And TNT brought back Dallas (0.45). This was down 40% from its last premiere (0.75 in February), but it dropped huge post-premiere and settled in about this range in the spring. After this start, another post-premiere drop like that would likely be curtains.

I think Running Wild will fluctuate based on the celebrity on the show.

No mention of Mistresses series low? It doesn't look quite as bad as prelims when it had a .7, but still

That .4 premiere for Top Model really shows how much Whose Line does for the CW in the summer. That .4 could have the highlight of the summer (minus the 100)
My pet idea is for ABC to cancel Mistresses and move the second half of Nashville's third season to that slot next summer thus allowing for something like The Astronaut Wives Club to premiere Wednesdays at 10pm (or even Mondays at 10pm if they are feeling bold and want to move Castle taking advantage of The Blacklist being gone). This is however contingent on Blackish working which I am not sure of.
The next celebs on Running Wild will be Deion Sanders and Tamron Hall so.....
Tamron who? No way she brings in any special kind of audience.
Running Wild can work; it just needs solid celebrities.
Looking up - MSNBC daytime anchor. Can't see her bringing in a crowd. Deion, on the other hand, certainly will, especially as there's no NFL preseason game on the slate on that Monday.
I like that idea. Nashville ratings are already bad, and the show is serialized, so very probably ratings are going to be even worse. If ratings of fall episodes are awful, then ABC should dump it to Saturday. If ratings would be bearable, then they should air remainder of 22-episodes in summer.
It's not about being relevant on Thursday. It's about maximizing ratings over entire week to maximize ad revenue.
And what's NBC doing? Wasting up their only big lead-in at The Blacklist which could stand alone for 2 months, then putting TB on 3 months hiatus before moving it into the worst possible slot, throwing it to the wolves.
I'm just saying that's very stupid plan, and it would be even more stupid from NBC not to consider their other options. I mean, for February, for fall schedule it's already too late.
