Rating the Ratings: It was quite impressive in 2012-13 when Supernatural returned to the midweek schedule at the same A18-49+ level it had before its two seasons on Friday. But what Supernatural achieved in 2013-14 was even more incredible. Despite another timeslot change, Supernatural pulled off another 8% growth in raw numbers, combining with The Originals to turn a previously-dead night into the CW's strongest. Improbably, this growth was enough to put Supernatural at its highest A18-49+ level in nine seasons, rather comfortably eclipsing the 48 in season one. It just barely missed out on becoming its network's biggest performer in A18-49 for the full season, but it was outperforming The Vampire Diaries in the second half of the season. It'll actually stay put for once in 2014-15, but it's pairing with yet another promising newbie in Flash. It'd be a surprise if Tuesday isn't the CW's best night again. Grade: A.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for Supernatural.

If the Flash does as well as I think it will (I'm really optimistic on that one) we might be able to see three seasons of growth in a row this late in the game!
For once we agree on a grade eheh ;) A very clear A, and one of the most amazing and unexpected ratings trajectories I can think of.
