- Even with Arrow (0.7) back in originals, albeit at a tie for a season low, The 100 (0.5) adjusted down in finals and thus was flat week-to-week. (As usual, it was pretty close to rounding up; the final was 0.53.) While a 0.6 would have put the show squarely in the likely renewal column, this non-rally keeps things pretty interesting. But maybe it will benefit from the network's softness in general this week.
- Everything scripted on the big four was in repeats except for Mixology (1.2), but this was of no help to the few originals in the mix. American Idol (1.9) got yet another new season low, while Survivor (2.3) adjusted up to tie its low.

That viewing levels between 8:00 and 8:30 must be way different. Survivor jumped 14% in the half hour, Idol 18%, and the SVU repeat 20%.
I don't understand why Arrow is falling so much when it's having such an amazing season and the reviews are so positive, it's puzzling. I am happy that The 100 bounced back a bit though I would feel a bit better with an upwards adjustments, I am addicted to both of these shows.
I'm curious how many shows the BBT reruns will beat.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the CW's summer schedule? I was surprised and impressed to see the CW try to develope a comedy block. Even though it is a weird way to start. They are taking their sole piece of comedy programming, which is currently in the lowest viewed hour they program in, and using it to stay a comedy block of Who's Line, New comedy, Who's Line (r), New comedy.
.
The only other show I can see being strong enough to launch from its repeats would be Big Bang
There was a curveball or two in their announcement: I'm surprised they didn't emphasize that The 100 would still be running new episodes into June, and that they are airing a new show on Fridays. Mondays being a comedy night is a good idea because it avoids most of the summer heavy hitters (America's Got Talent, Hell's Kitchen, Big Brother, even 24 since there'll only be a one week overlap). I guess they see slightly more promise in Backpackers over Seed. Overall, it's not bad.
My only other question is if they are going to move The Originals reruns to Thursdays following The Vampire Diaries.
Arrow summer repeats are at Wednesday 9 PM. Likely intention is to provide better lead-in to "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" than those 0.3 or whatever Arrow repeats would get.
But that's interesting, because there's possibility The CW would schedule Wednesdays as Flash / Arrow in the fall. With Arrow constantly bellow 1.0 nowadays, it probably wouldn't be better lead-in to Flash at 9 PM than local programming would provide for Flash at 8 PM. While Flash seems like sure thing to be over 1.0 (for first x episodes, at least), and it would give better lead-in to Arrow at 9 PM than Arrow would get at 8 PM, no?
But I think it won't happen, as I still think CW will try to improve Monday this fall. If so, Monday would be either Supernatural/Flash; either Flash/SPN; either Originals/SPN: Bloodlines (with SPN/Flash on Tuesday). There's multiple combinations purely because there's S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC (probably Tue 8 PM, maybe 9 PM), and Gotham on Fox (probably Mon 8 PM), so it's to expect CW would try and avoid putting Flash against either of those two.
