Rating the Ratings: When last we checked in on Drop Dead Diva, the show had been cancelled despite increasing its 18-49 average in season four. The un-cancellation came in March, bringing on a season five that began this June. And season five saw a significant ratings drop. It is worth noting that a big part of that drop was due to five of the episodes airing in the fall. Its eight summer episodes averaged about a 0.7, down 11% from the first eight of summer 2012, and then all the fall episodes hit either 0.5 or 0.6. After going through the wringer following a growth season, Diva was renewed fairly early on for a sixth season following a down run. So it goes. Grade: C+.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for Drop Dead Diva.

Before I clicked for the full post, I had the exact same conclusions as you. If Chicago PD holds or ticks up, I'd vote renew since NBC has bigger problems (read: Thursdays and Sundays post-football).
And that 1.5 by Chicago PD was actually 1.46. So if it falls just 10% more it's Revolution/Parenthood territory despite stronger lead-in. I don't care much about CPD, but I'm rooting it holds at around 1.5, because it'd be nice to see one "renew" amongst depressive amount of "cancels".
I have my theories on why Enlisted is scheduled as such. TVBTN visitors are already well aware of them...
Amusingly, Enlisted *has* now been flipped with Raising Hope, just the two weeks too late.
I'm guessing that last night's uptick ensures Spot makes that call too. No point deferring if you're gonna say Cancel after a rise in episode 3 (reverse of the reasoning behind the Cancel prediction for Brooklyn Nine-Nine after its week three drop).
