- With The Walking Dead on hiatus and NBC providing a mediocre Sunday Night Football matchup between Carolina and New Orleans, the broadcasters got a rare bit of Sunday relief. This was most evident on male-skewing Fox, where (with an assist from an NFL lead-in) all four cartoons were at or very near season high levels.
- On CBS, The Amazing Race wrapped up its season at 19% behind last season's finale, about the same year-to-year trend it's experienced all season. And the returns from revamped The Mentalist remain surprisingly promising, as it adjusted up to another new season high (albeit with its largest lead-in of the season from TAR).
- After finals adjustments, ABC ended up with minor week-to-week growth out of both Once Upon a Time and Revenge.

Bones just picked up the tick to close the gap in the finals. I can't believe it's doing as well as AH on Fridays in its TWELFTH time slot.
Bones is doing amazing, it's spectacular.
In unrelated comments, I find it surprising that TRUE is helping the Friday shows so little. I would expect a 1.7 on a Friday to be worth more than a 1.8. Grimm and the CW shows don't even receive any TRUE love.
Usually they do, but the viewing estimates for this night said there were more people watching TV than a typical Friday (especially at 9:00). Often I chalk this up to rounding errors, but there may be a little something to it this time since almost everything was up.
Oh I see. Yeah, that makes sense and indeed the fact that so much stuff was up may show that it was an abnormally viewed day. Thanks for the clarification!
