Tonight Fox has the back half of the two-night
Almost Human premiere, which scored a preliminary
3.1 on Sunday with a 3.4 -> 2.8 half-hour breakdown. (We won't have a good look at the number for its lead-in, the NFL post-game show
The OT, till tomorrow.) I'm not expecting anything
too catastrophic; tonight will have a bit less competition than usual for Monday 8/7c as NBC airs a
The Voice recap special. But the average week two drop is nearly 20%, and with no NFL help for
Almost Human, it seems quite likely to go down even more than that.
Over/Under: 2.25.

I will probably be burned again by this, as I have been by your last two FOX lines, but I think this number is way way lower than what it should do. I think it's kind of dead if it pulls a 2ish tonight. I think it will be considerably higher than this, which means I am probably wrong anyway lol. Over
My optimism is killing me. Under.
This show is gonna burn me twice in as many episodes. Over.
Ugh. Almost Human is going to burn me twice. I don't know if the mass exodus between the half-hours was due to the show being rejected or Sunday Night Football fans switching over. Is that going to happen again with MNF's Patriots/Panthers line-up? Can Sleepy Hollow bring any heat to this show?
Oh, screw my analysis. I'm flipping a quarter. Heads=Over, Tails=Under.
*Flip*
Heads. So over. (Even my coin flips are optimists.)
Where is Arrow?
I won last night with under. I'll go with under again.
I'm feeling that this show will soon be at Bones #s and it'll swap timeslots with Bones and then die.
Over. 2.5, though there wasn't a cliffhanger.
I'll go under.
UNDER.
Reluctant Over, 2.4. 20% down from where it was in the 2nd half hour. Though if the second episode is terrible (and critics didn't get it, so by all means it may be), it could start strong with another big drop at the half.
I think it will do OK. FOX has given it a decent amount of promotion, but not as much as if it would have come in at midseason or after the Super Bowl. It appears to be a male-focused show, so I don't know how badly MNF will hurt it. The Patriots are usually a strong draw, and from the half-hour numbers, it looks like last night's game took some of the wind out of AH's sails...still...I'll go Over at 2.6
MNF was a big game. That half-hour breakdown might also reflect show rejection.
More out of hope for Bones reclaiming a Monday slot than anything else, but I'm going UNDER.
Great line. The prelim is a 2.2, so it could go either way. I'm hoping it'll stay 2.2 so I win.
Up to 2.3. Yay! =D
