- On the first relatively "normal" Wednesday in about a month, nearly every series was even or a bit up. A few particular notables:
- The most noteworthy bounce-back came from Criminal Minds, which fully recovered after a couple major hiccups against the decisive World Series game and the CMAs.
- As noted last week, The X Factor indeed did a little better with no CMAs in the mix, but (as I said then) it was not so much of a rally that I think it could be construed as a positive. It's still about forty percent behind where the show was on this night a year ago.
- And the CW's Arrow was up two ticks for the second straight week since getting slammed against the World Series, and a finals uptick took it to an outright season high.

I suppose it just took people a couple extra weeks to realize Arrow was back.
I am just glad the ratings are back to where they belong. This season has been amazing.
