Baseball doesn't seem to be doing as high as I think we were supposed to expect for a Boston Series, at least based on my memory of the World Series chart from last year...
That's what I've been thinking, as well. Everything's been half a point better than last year, but that's not saying much.
It's interesting to note that despite all of CBS's problems with Mondays, it is now down only 2%, which means if they had something semi competent on the 10pm hour they could probably be up. Puts things in perspective IMO. Hell, even the CW dreadful night is up 17% from year ago (how is that possible anyway, i don't remember gossip girl and 90210 being lower than this so early on... we forget easily i guess)
Also, the blacklist going up when the voice goes down is a very good sign. I don't understand however why it is so low in TRUE since the voice is lower than usual and competition was higher than usual (castle and hostages were at normal levels + high competition from FOX).
Thanks, I forgot to extend the World Series numbers into the 10:00 hour.
CBS and CW were both mostly repeats last year. CBS had a news special that got a 2.1 at 10:00, which was the only reason why it was down at all.
Ah no problem, glad to have been of help.
Thanks for those clarifications regarding CBS and CW, that makes more sense now.
