Rating the Ratings: Three years ago, Wipeout was a legitimate part of the broadcast summer pantheon. Now, it's a bubble show even by ABC's pathetic summer standards. Season six saw nearly a third of the audience bail once again. The only nice thing I can think to say is at least it didn't erode that much over the course of the summer, as was a Wipeout tradition even in its best days. But there's not a lot left to be eroded. Grade: D-.
