Rating the Ratings: So You Think You Can Dance had another bad season, dropping to easily its lowest Plus level ever and dipping into the low 1's for most of the last couple months. It might seem somewhat surprising that Fox would bring this show back yet again, yet its return for 2014 was actually announced much earlier this time around. (When I did the update last year, we didn't know.) If nothing else, credit Fox for putting its "year-round scheduling" money where its mouth is. Even if the SYTYCD ratings might not seem any good anymore, the network wants to keep the lights on, and there's plenty of room for even these low ratings. Two nights of Tuesday comedy repeats didn't get the job done this summer. Grade: D+.
