Rating the Ratings: America's Got Talent had a rather boringly strong season, dropping by just around the league average on both nights. The Wednesday comparisons are somewhat strange because it didn't air on Wednesday early in the season this year, but it was actually up year-to-year in many of the corresponding episodes comparisons. The lack of an Olympics hiatus likely helped keep the show afloat in the second half of the season compared to last year. But either way, in a world where 30%+ y2y drops have become the norm for Fox's talent shows, this kind of season can't be taken too lightly. Grade: B.
