The Question is back with NBC's first big stab at its new "event" programming approach, game show
Million Second Quiz. It's been promoted incessantly, including Ryan Seacrest's much-booed appearance at the network's NFL opener. But if the NFL raised awareness, it'll also be an obstacle, as ESPN's
Monday Night Football will throw a very appealing Redskins/Eagles game directly at
MSQ on the East Coast. Throw in the game show dormancy and I'm projecting a modest,
American Ninja Warrior level premiere. But it might grow tomorrow in the
America's Got Talent halo!
Over/Under: 1.55.

And we're off!
Under.
Excited for a new season of The Question!
I'll say UNDER.
For some reason I was expecting bigger things. Perhaps it'll get that tomorrow but I say over.
I'm betting The Question is one thing this season that'll see a sophomore bounce as well as good year-to-year comparisons as the season progresses. :)
Million Second Quiz probably also got a good amount of promo during last night's SNF game. But this would probably succeed better as December filler similar to The Sing-Off or Deal or No Deal. And seeing a show hosted by Ryan Seacrest get a lift from The Voice would have been great TV irony.
Under.
I can't wait until NASCAR goes on NBCSN in 2015 so I have an excuse to watch an NBC-affiliated network during the summer. Then I'll be able to judge promotional levels better.
That said, I don't really know what kind of gimmick Million Second Quiz is trying to sell. I have a feeling the public agrees. Under.
Over at a 1.9. Anything less would be a disappointment given the promotion.
I am really looking forward to this, but it will be Eagles/Redskins for me tonight! Go Eagles!
Over I hope,
otherwise its a real waste of a $10 million prize
On a side note, it will be really interesting to see if Under will be right 60% of the time again or whether you have compensated (or perhaps over-compensated). How the players react to the lines will also be key.
Under
Over
Over. It's not going up against anything except RGIII, and more people will be watching TV in the early evening tonight.
Under. It may have been promoted like crazy, but the advertisements weren't any good. They were confusing, didn't really show what the show's about, and most importantly, after seeing them 10,000 times, I wouldn't have known what day it premiered if there hadn't been a Question today. So, Under.
Over at 1.7
Over
If i'm not too late then over
I'll count it this time but please submit before 6 AM ET in the future. Thanks!
