Rating the Ratings: Celebrity Apprentice was another example for a common refrain in recent seasons: all-star seasons don't stop the bleeding. The all-star edition followed up last season's brutal 28% drop with another sizable decline. The story was somewhat like Survivor's in that the premiere was the season's most brutal data point; its 1.7 was down 35% year-to-year. Around the halfway point, the show had made up around half that deficit. But unlike Survivor, it didn't finish strong, tailing off to a 1.5 or lower for each of the last three eps. The show now finds itself in a weird state of limbo. It's not cancelled, but the NBC execs almost seem too embarrassed to admit it's still alive. If the show were still pulling the hit-level ratings of its early years, I could see putting up with "The Donald," but dropping the franchise would certainly not be unreasonable at this ratings point. Grade: D+.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for The Apprentice.

According to Reality Blurred, it is moving to a summer show starting in 2014. That could explain the events from schedule release day.
