Rating the Ratings: It seemed quite likely coming into the 2012-13 season that it'd be the last for CSI: NY, and the show simply didn't do enough to reverse that course. It was initially scheduled in the 8:00 hour so CBS could put newbie Made in Jersey in the better 9:00 hour, but that lasted for just two weeks. Back at 9:00, NY was able to pick up to a fairly consistent 1.5 demo for most of the rest of its short season, though it took a mysterious downturn to a 1.2 for each of the last two weeks. All in all, it was pretty close to the same show it'd been throughout its three-season Friday run, but with so many other shows fighting for CBS real estate, it was time to go. Grade: C.
