Mad Men Last Season |
1.2 (premiere, 3/25/12, +37% year-2-year) 0.88 (average, +21% year-to-year) 0.9 (finale, 6/10/12, +18% year-2-year) |
Fellow mega-acclaimed Breaking Bad suddenly exploded last summer, from a 1.1 in its July 2011 premiere to a 1.5 in 2012. But Mad Men is an older show, it's actually on the downturn from an Emmy domination standpoint, and though I'm a fan, I do feel it's just inherently more "niche" than some of the other exploding cable serialized shows. The cable serialized trend is undeniable, so maybe Mad Men is headed for yet another series high, but I don't think the momentum is on its side to the same extent as for other members of this space.
Over/Under: 1.25.

...Under. I did not know of its return tonight.

Under. I'm a huge fan, and I would love to see it go over, but it's pretty clear that this show is simply not going to break out the way Breaking Bad did.
1.3- Over
The DNGS is indicating that I should give it the benefit of the doubt. Over.
It could match that 1.2 but I reckon this one has peaked, under.
I would guess an 0.9. UNDER.
I have no idea. Under
Over at 1.5. I'm being way too optimistic, but I love this show!
Under.
Under at 1.2.
I have no clue what to go with this, so I'm sticking with my patented optimism.
Over.
Over at 1.3
