- Season finale night on Fox went pretty well with Bones up a tick and The Following up three. Both shows hit their best numbers since The Voice returns. Bones was up from last year's finale, and particularly for The Following, these last two weeks were a positive finish for a show that had previously been deteriorating.
- Meanwhile, it was a soft Monday on CBS and NBC, which will probably welcome the diminished competition from Fox in future weeks. Hawaii Five-0 hit another new low point, Revolution dropped yet another two tenths after finals, and The Voice ended up down 12% even with a generous finals uptick. CBS at least saw a bit of a rally for the troubled 9:00 hour.

Will The Following be able to snatch a 125 A18-49+ and end up as a hit?
Adjusting up to 2.7 in finals helps, but it's going to be very close. League average (which was 2.120 at the end of last week) will need to tick down to 2.109 or lower. It only dropped seven thousandths in the last 3.5 weeks last year (from 2.369 to 2.362). So May sweeps will have to go worse this year than last.
On one hand I want the league average to drop so The Following can be labelled as a hit, but on the other hand I don't want it to because that would mean poor performances from several shows. Also, do you think NBC has a shot at winning May sweeps?
By the way, one episode of TBBT had over a 300 "episode 18-49+", scoring a 6.4, above the necessary 6.36.
If the league average drops all the way to 2.10, it only takes about a 3.14 average for big hit. But Grey's would still have to average more than a 3.4 over the last three. Either one of those is unlikely, much less both. So yes, basically no chance.
Can Survivor: Caramoan get to 125?
Needs to average 2.8 the rest of the way (or 2.7 with a little league average help)
