Rating the Ratings: Survivor was down in the 15% vicinity year-to-year for the third time in the last four seasons, though this season did ever-so-slightly outrate the spring 2012 season. It's a bit of a disappointing result for the show considering how well it started (3.2 demo, down just two tenths from the fall 2011 premiere) and that its chief competition The X Factor faded considerably in season two. But a Fans vs. Favorites season and another struggling competitor (American Idol) may bode well for the spring. Grade: C.
