Rating the Ratings: Like Gossip Girl from earlier in the week, 30 Rock appeared headed for a much worse year-to-year trend than this for much of the fall but got a little bit of redemption down the stretch run. Following an autumn in which 1.2 to 1.3 was the norm, 30 Rock opened 2013 with a season high 1.5 demo on January 10, and then it saw a significant spike to 1.9 for its series finale on January 31. That was a pretty nice-sized spike considering it had to deal with American Idol and The Big Bang Theory. As with Gossip Girl, though, most of the season rated at a level that NBC's probably not going to miss too much. Grade: C+.
