- This whole "NBC is the only network airing originals" thing is working out very well for them. Whitney, Guys with Kids, Law and Order: SVU and Chicago Fire all hit timeslot season highs, with Fire even beating the post-Voice airing that had previously been its zenith. To be a Gloomy Gus, I should point out that NBC Wednesday looked almost as promising in its pre-Idol airing last year before dropping considerably. It'll probably get lower for NBC once someone, anyone, returns their regular lineup. But credit to them for taking care of business on this evening. Should be interesting to see how CBS Thursday does in a similar situation tonight.
- On the other hand, there was Fox, which somehow still has some episodes of Mobbed (1.0 at 8:00, 1.1 at 9:00) lying around. It'll be back tonight and then again next Thursday, and that should be it.
