Spotted Ratings, Sunday 1/13/13

WHAT MATTERS:

• NBC should end up way on top of the Sunday rankings with the Golden Globe Awards, which posted a 6.4 demo and 19.7 million viewers. That's up a whooping 28% in 18-49 from last year, a very positive sign for new hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. (If only that many people would watch their NBC sitcoms!)

• They held off a football-fueled CBS, which was in the double-digits in the 7:00 hour with NFL overrun but saw little benefit to the rest of the lineup. 60 Minutes had a huge drop at the half, and then The Good Wife and The Mentalist had relatively normal (though season high-tying) numbers.

• ABC Sunday began its plunge into the event-filled part of the year with Once Upon a Time down three tenths, close to the same percentage drop week-to-week as it took last year against the Globes. Revenge was hurt a bit more. Fox's animation held up somewhat better overall, though The Cleveland Show and The Simpsons seemed nicked by the end of CBS' football. Bob's Burgers, Family Guy and American Dad! had higher-end outings considering there was no football lead-in.
