- The NFL returned with what I would call fairly underwhelming numbers by the ridiculous ratings standards that this league has set. This game was down 1.2 points (11%) from the year-ago premiere despite including a Cowboys team that is usually a pretty massive draw. I shall wait a few weeks before declaring that the league is dead, though!!!
- I will just reiterate the probably very obvious point that, for the second straight night, the DNC coverage on the broadcasters and CNN (1.1) and MSNBC (0.9) was way up vs. last Wednesday's RNC coverage, but Fox News (0.5) was wayyy down.
