Spotted Ratings, Sunday 8/26/12

WHAT MATTERS:

• It was another strong Sunday as Big Brother hit a season high, the Tebows vs. Panthers on NBC did the best numbers of any game this NFL preseason, and several repeats also had solid gains including Once Upon a Time and The Good Wife. But most notable among the encores was the Fox animation, which was at or very near summer highs across the board with another NFL preseason game leading in.

• True Blood (2.8) signed off for the summer. It had no real week-to-week movement but was still above average to cap off a season that held up very well. Its The Newsroom lead-out (1.0) hit a series high on finale night. Leverage (0.8) moved up to the 9:00 hour and picked up a bit.
