Rating the Ratings: Following its huge drop in its first season on Friday, season two of CSI: NY on Friday held up decently. The show dropped just 7% and hung right around a 1.7 demo for virtually the whole season. But there was something of a red flag when the show (along with everything else on CBS Friday) completely fell apart in the last few weeks of the season, going 1.7 -> 1.5 -> 1.4 -> 1.2 in its last four episodes. The mostly-scripted lineup fell squarely behind ABC's unscripted offerings. CSI: NY by most accounts just barely made it into 2012-13, and my money's on next season (which will include a move to 8/7c) being the last. Grade: C+.
Here's the now updated War of 18-49 post for CSI: NY.

The only reason...THE ONLY REASON...this is around is because of the fact that CBS didn't start the second Thursday block and/or keep Undercover Boss in the regular season.
