- ABC's finale night dominated Sunday as Once Upon a Time was up to its highest levels since early March. The two-hour end to the eight-season run of Desperate Housewives tied a season high, but it predictably did not get anything near a Lost or ER-sized bounce; it was only up about 20% from last week.
- CBS had a really underwhelming finale night as viewers didn't flock to see perhaps the most inevitable winner ever on Survivor. It's the first time since Survivor started butting heads with Fox reality competitions on Wednesday that it didn't get a huge spike on Sunday finale night.
- The two networks without finales were left behind as Celebrity Apprentice downticked for the fourth straight week and the Fox animation got pretty ugly, with The Simpsons going sub-2.0 for the first time ever.

Huge Survivor Fan here. Do you have any idea as to why Survivor did not have its usual finale boost? At first, I thought that the ratings were a joke! I think that there will be returnees in every season for the rest of Survivor, which will last 30 seasons.
Speaking for myself, I thought the winner was so inevitable that I wasn't expecting very good TV (even if I thought she absolutely deserved the win). Other than that, I guess the series finale for Desperate Housewives was pretty abnormal competition?
