Spotted Ratings, Monday 5/7/12

WHAT MATTERS:

• Finale week began on a relatively positive note for The Voice as it finished up three tenths from last week. That bounce also caused struggling Dancing with the Stars to drop again.

• ABC did have good news at 10/9c as the Castle finale hit its biggest number since early November and pulled ahead of Hawaii Five-0.

• CBS tested out the one-hour finale of 2 Broke Girls in the lead-off role and probably wasn't too enthusiastic about the results, as the show hit a series low and was significantly below the typical How I Met Your Mother results in the 8:00 half-hour (where 2BG preliminarily averaged a 2.9, might have gone up to 3.0 in finals). Hard to say how much stock CBS puts in these results, but it would at least seem to suggest HIMYM is Truly stronger than 2BG, as I've been saying for most of the season; we'll see how a one-hour HIMYM does next week against the America's Got Talent premiere.
