Spotted Ratings, Tuesday 4/3/12: Weak Results

WHAT MATTERS:

• Just like in season one, the results shows for The Voice look a lot weaker compared with the main night (especially if last night's 4.1 was deflated by the NCAA bball competition). The show still improved the timeslot big-time, but it provided zero boost to reality program Fashion Star, which figures to post its Truly weakest result yet.

• The struggles just keep coming for New Girl, down double digits against The Voice in its final airing before Glee returns. This will mark the show's fourth straight decline in its five without-Glee eps.

• On ABC, despite Dancing with the Stars taking a week-to-week hit (again, thanks The Voice), Body of Proof maintained last week's surprising rating and rose about a million viewers with CBS sitting out the evening. The finale is next week, and it looks like this show will be leaving ABC decision-makers with a little something to think about.
