- ABC rested their hot Wednesday lineup for a week but still got much better results with The CMA Awards, which were up a tick from last year in 18-49.
- Most shows took a hit against the competition, with The X Factor hitting a new Wednesday low and CBS' lineup all at or close to season-low levels. The hardest-hit of CBS' shows was Criminal Minds, three tenths below any previous result this season. Also, Law and Order: SVU dropped below the 2.0 demo threshold for the first time in its 13-year history.
